
Inger Bergom joined OIRA in 2021 as a Senior Research Analyst. She leads data analysis projects that support university planning and process improvement, collaborating with offices and academic units across Harvard. She also develops interactive tools and scalable reports to make data more accessible and useful, and leads efforts to connect institutional researchers across campus to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Outside of OIRA, Inger has been a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and previously served as an institutional research analyst at Tufts University. She also taught a graduate course on organizational theory and practice in higher education at Merrimack College. Inger holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Higher Education from the University of Michigan, where her research emphasized both qualitative and quantitative methods, with a focus on evaluation, assessment, teaching practices, and faculty work.
