Ruth Loescher is the Associate Director of Institutional Research for Reporting, having joined Harvard University in 1990 as a staff member within the Institutional Research function of the then Office of Budgets (now the Office of Financial Strategy and Planning). She was part of the transition team as the institutional research function evolved into the Office of Institutional Research. Over time she has continued to take on more responsibility and challenging projects.
As a member of the Office of Institutional Research and Analytics team, her contributions include responsibility for overseeing the reporting side of the office. This includes collecting and maintaining key data, fulfilling mandatory reporting requirements; and providing analysis to inform senior leadership across the institution. She has supported strategic University-wide efforts in areas such as accreditation; student reporting; and financial aid process improvements.
